This modification requires the technical knowledge and ability to extend very fine gauge wires, to properly cover the exposed area with heat shrink tubing, and to unsolder and solder two critical connections. Failure to execute the steps properly could result in damaging your mic or a modification that is out of phase, noisy, unreliable, or otherwise impaired.
